Social Media

Our Channels

URLAUBSARCHITEKTUR is active on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook, where it reaches a steadily growing community of architecture enthusiasts:

Our experience shows that having a social media presence works very well for many partners — though, of course, it’s entirely up to each individual to decide whether and how actively they want to participate. There are no “musts”—only individual approaches.

Our Content / No Advertising

Our content is curated and organic. We also post about current topics and updates on our websites.

Important to know: URLAUBSARCHITEKTUR does not accept paid posts or stories on its social media channels.

Collaboration

This makes collaboration all the more crucial: We encourage all partner properties to actively connect with our accounts—for example, by tagging us and using the hashtag #urlaubsarchitektur in posts and in reels. This makes it easier for us to discover relevant content and, if it aligns with our curatorial vision, to share it further. It’s also worth involving other partner projects and connecting with one another—the network works very well on social media and thrives on interaction.

Content

For us to share content, it must reflect our focus: aesthetically sophisticated, architecturally relevant perspectives. Particularly suitable are posts that convey the uniqueness of a home and its context—for example, through insights into materials, textures, lighting, spatial concepts, design approaches, or the vision of the hosts or architects. Less suitable, however, are generic or very general content, such as classic food/beverage motifs, repetitive landscape shots, etc. Likewise, we do not repost content featuring children.

A technical note: When using music, especially in Reels, please use only royalty-free music to avoid legal issues.

Overall, the rule is: quality over quantity. Authentic, carefully crafted content with a clear architectural focus contributes most significantly to visibility within the network.

For which of our partners does social media make sense?

We respect our partners’ differing views on social media.

For our partners, it only makes sense to use social media if there is a commitment to maintaining it over the long term. Social media accounts that are not actively and regularly maintained are not worthwhile.
